Yamaha RBX370A P/J 4-String Bass, Sage Green - Used

The Yamaha RBX series built a well-deserved reputation in the 1990s for delivering solid, giggable basses at accessible prices — and the RBX370A is a strong example of why. Solid alder body, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard with 24 frets and a full 34-inch scale, P/J pickup configuration, and active electronics with volume, blend, treble, and bass controls. The active preamp gives you a wide tonal range from the P/J layout — warm and thumpy from the P pickup, punchy and defined from the J, and anywhere in between. It's a comfortable, balanced bass that plays well and sounds good doing it.
This one has been recently set up in the shop and is ready to play. It shows plenty of dents, dings, and scratches consistent with regular play and lots of love — an honest working bass with real road miles on it. The sage/forest green finish is an unusual and attractive color. At 7 pounds 7 ounces it's a comfortable weight. Excellent bass for short money.
