Squier Classic Vibe 70s Jazz Bass, Natural, Gig Bag - Used
This one was built in 2012 at the Cort factory in Indonesia — a well-regarded era for the Classic Vibe line — and it has been gone over by our in-house techs. It is set up and playing well, and it is strung with flatwounds, which only adds to the warmth and thump. Ready to thump right out of the box. The fingerboard is maple for extra snap and clarity, and the whole thing has a punchy, singing quality that cuts through a mix whether you are digging in with fingers, slapping, or laying back in the pocket.
Condition is Very Good — there are minor signs of cosmetic use in line with what you would expect from a played instrument, but nothing significant and nothing structural. Check the photos for specifics on the wear. Comes with a gig bag.
At 10 lbs 3 oz it is a substantial bass, but well balanced in the Jazz body shape. A solid, giggable instrument for a player who wants that 70s tone without the vintage price.
