Epiphone Goth Thunderbird IV Bass w/ Hard Case – Used
The Epiphone Goth Thunderbird IV is a dark, aggressive take on the legendary reverse zig-zag body design originally conceived by automotive visionary Ray Dietrich. This Goth edition trades in the traditional look for a sinister pitch black satin finish, black-on-black hardware, and a unique XII inlay at the 12th fret.
This bass is in good playing shape, though it does show some honest wear and tear consistent with a guitar that has been used to rock. The satin black finish is smooth and fast, complemented by a pickguard featuring a Celtic cross. We have professionally set this bass up in our shop, ensuring it is ready for the stage or studio with a straight neck and thunderous output.
Equipped with dual TB-Plus humbuckers, this Thunderbird delivers a massive, growling low end that holds its own in any high-volume mix. It includes an Epiphone hardshell case which, like the bass, shows some cosmetic wear but remains fully functional for protecting this uniquely shaped instrument.
