The Ibanez Roadstar II series has long been known for delivering solid, roadworthy instruments with a comfortable feel and versatile tone. This bass has clearly seen a lot of love, with scratches, chips, and dents throughout the body giving it plenty of character. Despite the wear, the neck is straight, the frets are healthy, and it plays clean right down at low action spec.
The bridge pickup runs a little quieter than the P-style pickup — not due to a fault, but simply the natural balance of this setup. Overall, it remains a solid player and has plenty of life left in it. A great choice for someone who wants a reliable vintage Ibanez bass without worrying about babying the finish.
