Here we have a 1972 Fender Bassman 100 head in excellent working condition. This amp is a higher-wattage version of the beloved Bassman, and it's a true beast! Transformer codes date it to the 49th week of 1972, making this an early production model of the amp. The "bass instrument" channel features two inputs, 2-band EQ, volume control, and "deep" switch, while the "normal" channel is equipped with two inputs, 3-band EQ, volume control, and bright switch. Other features include master volume control and two external speaker jacks. Very nice! This one sounds great in a wide variety of musical contexts -- whether you're looking for warm, jangly cleans or crunchy, higher-gain dirty tones, this amp has got you covered!
This particular unit is in excellent condition for its age, with some light cosmetic signs of use in the tolex and faceplate (see photos). Functions perfectly and shows surprisingly little wear for its age. Right on!!
