The Vox AC30C2 is the modern evolution of the amplifier that defined the sound of the British Invasion. Known for its iconic chime and complex, harmonically rich overdrive, this 30-watt powerhouse utilizes a classic all-tube design to deliver one of the most recognizable voices in rock history. Featuring a quartet of EL84 power tubes and a trio of 12AX7 preamp tubes, the AC30C2 offers the perfect balance of sparkling headroom and thick, creamy saturation.
This model features a twin-channel design: Normal and Top Boost. The Top Boost channel provides the legendary Vox treble and bass controls for dialing in that signature bite, while the Normal channel offers a simpler, cleaner path that serves as an incredible foundation for pedals. The amp is equipped with two 12 inch Celestion G12M Greenback speakers, which contribute a woody, vintage character and a mid-range warmth that complements the Vox circuitry perfectly.
This unit is in good condition and has been fully tested in our shop. All pots, jacks, and switches are functioning correctly, and the tubes are healthy with plenty of life remaining. The built-in spring reverb and tremolo both sound deep and lush. Cosmetically, the amp shows some light wear on the Tolex and the classic diamond-pattern grille cloth, but it remains structurally solid and ready for the stage or studio.
