This specific unit is a very early production model, bearing the chassis number H0032. Manufactured in approximately 1990, this amplifier represents the beginning of the MKI reissue series, which was hand-built by Mesa Engineering to capture the magic of the original 1970s designs.
The MKI was the foundational design for Randall Smith, famously providing the massive sustain and singing saturation that redefined the possibilities of a compact 1x12 combo.
