Mesa/Boogie Mark IIB Combo – 1981 – Cream Tolex
The Mark IIB is widely considered the sweet spot of the early Mesa/Boogie lineage. This one carries a handwritten factory date of February 19, 1981 on the chassis, cream/blonde tolex with dark grille cloth, 60 watts, and appears all original throughout.
The speaker is worth calling out, it's the original Electro-Voice Model 12L, OEM type, with a serial number dating to August 1981. A matching original speaker in a 44-year-old combo is not something you see every day.
One of the power tubes shows some darkening, which we're disclosing upfront. This amp has not been powered up and verified by our technicians and is being sold as-is, condition as described. Price reflects that honestly.
