Mill River Music brings you a used Legend Amplifiers G1230 Model A30 Combo Amp w/ original Leather Cover! This amp looks as great as it sounds, as the exterior is made of finished solid oak that has been kept in good condition over its lifetime; the electronics and pots work great after being cleaned out and tested by our techs in-shop! The amp comes with a leather cover and some cool information on how the amp functions.
Two different inputs (High and Low sensitivity) connect your instrument to the amp, then the signal can go between two different "Modes" that act as a "Clean" and "Higher Gain" channel switch. In each "Mode" are "1st Stage Tube Drive" controls that determine the amount of signal going into the first tube stage from Opamp state 1 of the preamp (the higher the setting, the more the 1st tube stage will be overdriven); there is also a "2nd Stage Tube Drive" control towards the end of the signal chain, as well as a 3-band EQ (Bass, Mid and Treble), a "Presence" control and a Reverb knob to blend in signal from the built-in reverb spring tank!
The switches on this amp are unique, as there are your typical Power and Standby switches, as well as a Polarity switch to help eliminate hum. On the back panel, you can hook up another speaker cabinet (with an 8 Ohm minimum impedance), as well as access the preamp output/power input loop! Finally, this amp comes with a footsiwtch that connects via 1/4" stereo jack that activates the reverb circuit and switches between the two modes.
