This example carries a stamped metal plate serial number of 1079, placing it in the pre-1992 vintage production run and likely among the earliest JCM800 cabinets made, potentially 1981-1982. Finger-jointed plywood construction with vintage Marshall tolex, black grille cloth, and recessed grab handles. One speaker appears to be an original Celestion; the other has been replaced with an Electro-Voice driver, model unconfirmed from visual inspection through the grille — see photos. This one is in Good condition. The tolex shows consistent wear and tears throughout, with a larger tear on the back — see photos for detail. Grille cloth has a small tear. Hardware is intact. Structurally sound and functional.
