"The Bass™ Mark IV™ Series utilizes many of the concepts found on our acclaimed Mark III™ Series Bass™, including our 400BH™ power module, our patented DDT™ compression (U.S. Patent No.4,318,053), passive and active equalization (dual channel configuration), six-band graphic equalizer, and ourversatile built-in electronic crossover. To these superb features we have added a new input preamp, pre-equalization effect loops, new push/push switches for bright (added high end boost) and graphic assignment, and a revised patch panel allowing more flexible use of the Bass in studio situations, live performances, biamping functions, and the use of post equalization effects devices."

The instrument channels go through a great Pre-Gain / EQ / Post-Gain channel strip, with the option to feed your signal into the 6-band Graphic EQ on the front face of the head! There are two channel send and returns, and the head is ready to take a minimum amplifier load of 2 Ohms (210W @ 4 Ohms OR 300W @ 2 Ohms); if you'd like to come try this head out with a cabinet, or have your own, feel free to stop by in the store!
The outside tolex covering has signs of wear and use, but it doesn't affect the playability; all of the knobs and faders have been tested out and work as should!
