The Rumble 800 is Fender's high-powered lightweight bass head — 800 watts into four ohms in a 5.8-pound chassis. The tone stack is straightforward and effective: a four-band EQ with bass, low-mid, high-mid, and treble, plus three voicing switches — Bright for a high-end boost, Contour for a mid scoop, and Vintage for an old-school tube-emulating character. A switchable overdrive circuit covers the gritty end of the spectrum. On the back you get two parallel speaker outs, a balanced XLR line out with ground lift and pre/post EQ switching, an effects loop, a 1/8" aux input, and a headphone out. Compatible with Fender's magnetic locking system on Rumble cabinets. A lot of amp in a very small, very light box — and a head that sits well in both studio and live contexts.
