The Veyron Tube is Bugera's flagship bass head — 2,000 watts of Class-D power in a chassis small enough to fit in a backpack, with a genuine tube preamp up front. Three 12AX7s run a six-stage Class-A preamp circuit operating at high voltage, which gives the front end real headroom and the option for actual tube grind when you push the gain. The power section is Class-D solid state, keeping the weight down while the tubes handle tone shaping. An optical compressor, Bugera's Dynamizer power management circuit, a 3-band EQ with selectable mid frequency, balanced DI with pre/post switching, and a footswitchable FX loop round out a genuinely well-specified head at its price point. A lot of amp for a small box.
This unit is in very good condition and fully functional. The chassis shows scratches and wear consistent with gigging use. There is a subtle high-frequency noise floor present at high gain levels — easily addressed with a gate or a touch of EQ. Photos show the condition accurately.
