Markbass has built their reputation on a simple proposition: serious bass tone in a package you can actually carry. The MB58R CMD 151 P delivers on that promise — 300 watts through a 15" classic ceramic speaker and piezo tweeter in a cabinet that weighs just over 32 pounds. The enclosure is built from a proprietary composite material developed specifically for this series, which accounts for the weight without sacrificing rigidity or volume. Tone shaping runs through a four-band active EQ alongside Markbass's VLE (Vintage Loudspeaker Emulator) and VPF (Variable Pre-shape Filter) controls — the VLE rolls off high-frequency content to emulate the warmth of older speaker systems, the VPF scoops the mids for a modern hi-fi sound. A balanced line out with pre/post EQ and ground lift switching handles direct recording and PA integration. Loud, light, and well-built — a practical working combo for rehearsal, recording, and smaller gigs.
This unit is in excellent condition and fully functional throughout.
