This early-1970s Ampeg V-4B is a classic all-tube bass head that delivers powerful tones with vintage muscle. Originally introduced as a bass-focused sibling to the V-4 guitar amp, the V-4B keeps the same rugged 100-watt all-tube power section but is voiced with tighter low end, punchier midrange, and a warm, organic growl when pushed.

A go-to choice for vintage tone lovers, this amp is an ideal match for players running 4x10s, 2x15s, or even modern cabs. It also pairs beautifully with effects and preamp pedals for more contemporary flexibility.

This one is in very good condition with signs of regular use and some cosmetic wear on the tolex and faceplate (see photos). It has received routine maintenance and sounds fantastic — responsive, rich, and loud. The original rocker switches and brushed aluminum control panel are intact and fully functional.

No accessories included unless otherwise noted.
