Inspired by classics but with a modern touch. The Line 6 LowDown HD400 is a modeling bass amp inspired by classics known for their tone (Ampeg SVT, Ampeg B-15, or the Marshall Super Bass). In addition to its quality sound, it has some impressive features:
- 400 watts!
- Accessible and lightweight 3U rackmount design
- Five onboard bass amp models: Clean, R&B, Rock, Brit, Grind, Synth
- Onboard chromatic tuner
- A deep switch for a fat and fuller tone
- Onboard Smart FX an envelope filter, octaver, chorus, and an Opto Comp for compression and dynamic control
- 1/4" preamp output
It's a neat amp with some pretty cool functions, and it sounds great overall! Another cool one from Line 6.
