Yamaha Storia II Concert Acoustic-Electric, Natural - Used
The Yamaha Storia series was designed as an invitation — instruments built to be beautiful enough to leave out on a stand, comfortable enough to pick up on a moment's notice, and good enough to reward that impulse every time. The Storia II is the all-mahogany version of the line: solid mahogany top, mahogany back and sides, nato neck with a slim walnut fingerboard, all finished in a warm natural semi-gloss. The concert body is comfortable and lightweight — this one comes in at 3 lbs 11 oz — and the 25" scale with hand-rolled fingerboard edges makes it one of the most immediately accessible guitars Yamaha has built in years. You do not have to work to play it.
The all-mahogany construction produces a warm, present voice with a strong midrange character and natural depth — big and defined, with the clarity and punch that a solid top brings to every note. The Yamaha passive undersaddle pickup captures that tone and sends it to an amp cleanly and naturally when you need it. The brass bridge pins, champagne gold open-gear tuners, and abalone and ivory rosette give it a refined aesthetic that holds up under close inspection. The ultramarine blue interior is a flourish that is easy to miss and impossible to forget once you have noticed it.
Condition is Very Good with mild play wear throughout — light marks and surface wear consistent with a played instrument, nothing significant and nothing structural. Check the photos for specifics. No case included.
