Known for his indie-adjacent fingerpicking patterns, complex melodies, and ingenious articulation, Johnny Marr's acoustic expertise has spanned countless releases from mid-2000s Modest Mouse recordings all the way back to the deepest depths of the Smiths' heralded B-sides. Uniting Johnny's outstanding instrumental acumen and Martin's timeless acoustic artistry, the M-7 Johnny Marr acoustic-electric guitar merges a classic tonewood duo and exceptional onboard appointments to channel the artist's signature jangle-pop character with utmost authenticity. The M-7 is not your typical acoustic, however — an additional octave G string pulls out the harmonic top-end spark that's expected of Marr's potent alternative playing style. A smooth mahogany neck and a high-performance bone nut and saddle combo further keep playing manageable and a best-in-class solution to administering Johnny's lighting-fast notational movements with ease — not to mention dutiful visuals via a vintage-inspired top finish and classic Martin accouterments. Complete with an onboard LR Baggs anthem preamp system, there's no better route for tackling onstage performances and in-studio recording sessions. Rest assured, with the Martin M-7 Johnny Marr in hand, your musical light will never go out.
