Fender Scorpion Acoustic-Electric w/ Guild Hard Shell Case - Used
The Fender Scorpion is a rare and distinctive "acoustic with an attitude," part of Fender’s Special Edition series from the early 2000s. With its sleek black finish, matching headstock, and unique scorpion inlay at the 12th fret, this guitar was designed for players who want the comfort of a Fender neck with a darker, more modern aesthetic. It features a spruce top and mahogany back and sides, delivering a crisp, punchy tone that cuts through a mix.
This guitar has been professionally inspected and set up in our shop, and it is playing perfectly right at factory specifications. The onboard electronics and pickup system have been fully tested and are working exactly as they should. Cosmetically, this is a well-loved instrument; the gloss black finish shows typical surface swirling along with lots of heavy scratching throughout the body, as is common with black guitars that have seen plenty of stage time.
Please note the included case: this guitar comes with a vintage Guild hard shell case. While the case is structurally sound and provides excellent protection for the instrument, it is cosmetically falling apart with significant exterior wear (see photos). It serves its purpose for safe transport but has seen quite a bit of life.
