This Fender F-220 SB is a fantastic value- a great player with a great price. It's a fine example of the quality instruments made in Japan by Fender in the 1980s. It has a loud, crisp, and articulate voice that makes it a joy for strumming and flatpicking. With a pro setup, it's a very nice player with comfortable action.
The top retains a beautiful high-gloss shine, though it does have a few scratches and scuffs as you'd expect from a 30+ year-old guitar, including a bit of belt rash on back. There is a small, superficial finish crack on the bass side of the neck near the nut, which is stable and does not affect the guitar's structural integrity. The frets show some light wear, mostly on the first three or four frets. This is a solid, great-sounding vintage dreadnought that's ready to play. Please note, no case or gig bag is included.
