Used, in very good playing condition. Easily one of Taylor's best value guitars, this 2003 model has withstood the test of time in a big way! Featuring a solid Sitka top, laminate Sapele back and sides, mahogany neck, ebony fretboard and bridge, lightweight construction. Has a bright, full voice and excellent playability all up and down the neck. The guitar is in very nice shape for its age, with some light cosmetic wear (finish nicks, etc), and some very light marks on the back of the neck that don't affect playability. Includes the original padded gig bag, also in very good shape with some cosmetic wear. A truly excellent dreadnought for the price!
From Taylor (specs may differ slightly):
A perfect travel companion with a Sitka spruce top and full Taylor tone. The Big Baby Taylor Acoustic Guitar is the Baby Taylor’s big sibling, a 15/16-scale Dreadnought with a solid Sitka spruce top and sapele back and sides. It boasts a surprisingly full voice, comes with a lightweight gig bag for easy portability, and makes a trusty companion wherever you go — even if it’s just to the couch.
Sapele/Solid Sitka Laminated sapele backs and sides and a solid spruce top make for crisp and well-defined sound in this versatile mid-priced guitar.
Measuring just a fraction smaller than a full-size Taylor Dreadnought, the Big Baby is small enough to be a perfect travel companion, yet big enough to be a trusty performer.
