The Sigma DM2 is a vintage dreadnought that hails from the era when Sigma was the official import line for C.F. Martin & Co. Built in Korea, these guitars were designed to provide the classic Martin experience at a much more accessible price point. This model is essentially a high-quality take on the D-18 style, known for its robust projection and clear, direct acoustic voice.
This guitar is in very nice shape. While the action is set a bit higher than standard Martin factory specifications, it remains very comfortable and is an ideal setup for a hard picker or a heavy strummer who wants to dig in without any fret buzz. The sound is huge and warm, easily punching way above its pay grade in terms of resonance and depth.
Cosmetically, it looks great with only basic signs of play-wear and minimal fret wear. The headstock is equipped with reliable Grover tuners that ensure excellent tuning stability.
