For sale is a 1964 Epiphone FT-90 El Dorado Square Shoulder Dreadnought in good playing condition with original hard case, Serial Number 210839. This is an old soul with a huge voice, easy playability and lots of stories to tell. Produced in Kalamazoo Michigan not long after Gibson acquired Epiphone. This is very similar to a vintage Country Western model, but with a little of its own voice and feel.

Solid spruce top, solid mahogany back and sides, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard and bridge, bone nut and saddle. Original adjustable-saddle bridge replaced with a normal Gibson style years ago. Beautiful parallelogram inlays up the fingerboard; 7-ply binding on the front of the instrument, 3-ply on the back. Nut width that measures 1-5/8". Scale length 25.5". Replaced Grover USA tuners. Action measures slightly below 3/32" on the bass and treble side at the 12th fret when the 1st fret is depressed. At some point it received not the most careful refret, frets are a bit flat, but it plays well with no hang ups or fretting out. The neck joint is healthy with little bridge belly for an instrument of its age. Cosmetically there is finish checking throughout, plenty of marks on the neck/fingerboard/headstock, a glued crack or two, but it is structurally sound (see photos).
