The combination of a 000 body at 12-fret neck join, Venetian cutaway, and nylon strings produces a guitar that sits in a genuinely unique tonal territory — warmer and more intimate than a steel-string 000, more focused and projecting than a traditional classical guitar, and far more practical on a stage or in a recording context than either. The solid Sitka spruce top with Martin's A-frame non-scalloped X-bracing delivers balanced projection and clarity across all six strings, the solid mahogany back and sides add the warm, dry midrange presence that mahogany is known for, and the combination produces a voice that adapts naturally across classical, Latin, fingerstyle, and singer-songwriter contexts. The ebony fingerboard is flat radius as appropriate for classical technique, the nut is a generous 1.875 inches for proper right-hand technique and comfortable chord voicings, and the 26.44-inch scale length sits in classical guitar territory. Gold side-mount tuners, ebony bridge with drop-in Tusq saddle, and satin finish throughout give the guitar an understated, professional appearance.
