Yamaha Silent Guitar SLG-100S w/ Gig Bag - Used
Mill River Music brings you a used Yamaha Silent Guitar SLG-100S w/ Gig Bag!
Yamaha Guitars introduced the SLG-100S at Winter NAMM 2003; similar to its nylon stringed counterpart, the SLG100S allows musicians to "practice and perform in privacy using headphones, and is an ideal choice for students in dorms, apartment and condo dwellers, traveling musicians staying in hotel rooms, musicians in the market for a second instrument, or even casual hobbyists," according to Yamaha themselves! Its lightweight composite body, Mahogany neck and Rosewood fingerboard are all in great condition, giving the guitar a true acoustic guitar feeling. The truss rod in the neck moves well, however we note the bridge is as low as it can go providing shop-spec action. Electronics include a combination of a Piezo system under the bridge and L.R. Baggs pickups, and an internal DSP recreates a reverb effect. The AUX input on the body of the instrument can easily connect to your phone, a CD player or tape machine for practicing and playing along with your favorite songs, while the larger 1/4" Jack available for plugging into an amplifier or P.A. system for live performances!
