This Taylor 224ce-K DLX is a stunning example of the Deluxe 200 Series, featuring an all-solid Hawaiian Koa top paired with layered Koa back and sides. The Grand Auditorium body shape is Taylor's most versatile, offering a balanced tonal profile that sits perfectly between a small-bodied fingerstyle guitar and a full-sized dreadnought. This model is known for its bright, focused top end that matures into a warmer, richer voice as the Koa ages with play.
This particular guitar is in excellent shape, showing only very minor signs of handling consistent with light home use. The playability is effortless, with the signature comfortable Taylor neck profile and a professional factory-standard setup. There is extremely minor fret wear on the first couple of frets that does not impact performance or intonation. Aside from a few faint signs of handling here and there, this instrument is in remarkable condition and could easily be mistaken for a brand-new model.
Equipped with Taylor’s Expression System 2 (ES2) electronics, this 224ce-K DLX delivers a natural, transparent plugged-in tone that is perfect for the stage or the studio. The Deluxe appointments include a full-gloss body, small diamond fretboard inlays, and a beautiful single-ring Italian acrylic rosette.
