Takamine's limited editions are built in small numbers in Japan, and the 2020 "Peace" is one of the prettier ones in recent memory. It pairs a solid spruce top in a brushed foliage-green finish with ovangkol back and sides on Takamine's downsized NEX body. The ebony fretboard carries an olive-branch and dove-of-peace inlay, set off by white binding and gold Gotoh tuners. A Palathetic pickup and CT4-DX preamp make it stage ready.
This one is in mint condition and presents beautifully. There is only minimal swirling in the finish, consistent with light basic play, and there are no scratches. It plays super easy, with a surprisingly warm and sweet tone for its body size. The original Takamine hardshell case is included and shows only minor wear.
