This Ovation 1867 Legend is a premium, American-made acoustic-electric crafted in Hartford, Connecticut. The 1867 is highly regarded for its super-shallow bowl design, which offers the slim, comfortable feel of an electric guitar while maintaining the signature projection and tonal clarity Ovation is famous for. This model features a high-grade solid spruce top and the classic center-hole rosette, making it a versatile choice for both stage and studio.
The guitar is in very good shape and is playing exceptionally well. It has been professionally set up in our shop to ensure a smooth, low action that is a hallmark of the Legend series. The electronics have been fully tested and the pickup system works great, providing a balanced and natural amplified sound.
Cosmetically, the instrument is very clean, showing only one very minor finish crack typical of vintage Ovations and some minor fret wear that does not impact playability. With a serial number of 479195, this is a fantastic example of American Ovation craftsmanship. Please note that this guitar does not include a case or gig bag.
