The high-pressure laminate top, back, and sides are remarkably durable and weather-resistant compared to traditional wood construction, which makes this guitar a practical choice for gigging, traveling, or just everyday use without babying it. Despite the HPL construction, Martin's A-frame X-bracing and the dreadnought body shape still deliver the warm, full, distinctly Martin-flavored tone the brand is known for — round in the low end and even across the rest of the spectrum.
