Inspired by Golden Age archtops, the LH‑309‑VS combines museum‑style aesthetics with modern affordability. We build it with a hand‑carved solid spruce top and maple back and sides, shaping a deep‑body archtop profile with a 16″ lower bout on a 24¾″ scale. The mahogany neck features a vintage “V” profile and a padauk fretboard, finished with our fleur‑de‑lys headstock inlay and butterbean open‑geared tuning machines. At the heart is our own P‑90 pickup, positioned for crisp treble clarity and strong upper‑mid projection—ideal for rhythm and lead work alike. The tone is articulate and lively with that classic “edge” you expect from a P‑90, while the gloss vintage sunburst finish adds warmth and retro appeal.
