Alvarez Yairi Acoustic Guitar – Spruce/Mahogany (2002, DYM Style)
This 2002 Alvarez Yairi is a finely crafted dreadnought-style acoustic that appears to be from the DYM Masterworks series, though the exact model is unknown. It features a solid spruce top paired with mahogany back and sides, and a mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard — a classic tonewood combo that delivers balanced warmth and clarity.
The guitar is in very good condition and has just been professionally set up in our shop. The action is within standard spec, with slightly more neck relief on the bass side than the treble. There’s some fret wear in the cowboy chord area and up the B string, but it does not affect playability.
This is a great player with rich, versatile tone and excellent build quality — a wonderful value for a Japanese-made Yairi.
