1956 Martin 0-18 – Excellent Vintage Condition, Recent Neck Reset, OHSC
**Description:**
This 1956 Martin 0-18 is a remarkably well-preserved example of a golden-era small-bodied Martin and a truly sweet player. With a solid spruce top, mahogany back and sides, and Brazilian rosewood fingerboard and bridge, this model delivers the woody, articulate voice that has made the 0-18 a favorite among fingerstyle players and singer-songwriters for generations.
This particular guitar is in excellent condition for its age, with no cracks or signs of previous structural repair. It has had a recent professional neck reset, resulting in a beautifully straight neck, low comfortable action, and excellent overall playability. (We’d be happy to raise the action to your specs if desired.) The top is nice and flat, the bridge is secure, and the frets have plenty of life with no issues to report. The guitar plays with a lovely dry clarity, and its small body provides surprising projection and warmth for its size.
Cosmetically, the guitar shows some expected wear for its age, including finish wear on the lower side and various small dings and scuffs throughout the body. Nothing structural — just honest wear that adds character. Please see photos for full condition details.
Includes the original hardshell case, which is in exceptional condition with no noticeable odor.
