Kinnaird Classical Acoustic Guitar Vintage Solid Spruce Mahogany w/ Hard Case

For sale is a vintage Kinnaird Classical Acoustic Guitar with vintage hardshell case in good playing condition, recently setup and playing well. It features a solid spruce top, mahogany back and sides with three-piece back construction. This guitar has a gorgeous old soul within it and remarkable bass response with a rich and complex midrange, a firm and woody treble response. The bracing on the inside is wild, unlike anything we've seen come through the shop. It features two transverse braces above the soundhole underneath the fretboard, and two more transverse braces behind the soundhole. The one behind that's closest features an overpass-style system where the tone bars that would intersect with it are enabled to vibrate freely. The transverse brace that's further from the soundhole is diagonal and intersects with all seven of the tone bars that fan out into the lower bout of the top.

Recently set up in the shop and is ready to play! A new saddle was made in the repair shop and it's currently playing with conventional classical action. At the 12th fret with the 1st fret depressed, the action on the bass side reads a proud 1/8" (3.3mm), and on the treble side it reads a proud 7/64" (2.9mm). Currently the action is as low as it can go without having to use ball end strings - making the action go lower wouldn't enable the right amount of break angle at the bridge with conventional tie-on strings. The scale length reads a cool 666mm, the nut is an even 2" wide (50.8mm), and the string spacing is 1-47/64" (44mm) from E to e. It was strung with a set of La Bella 10PH high tension silver-plate wound strings.
