Used, in excellent/near mint condition with original hardshell case. This is a 2015 Taylor 914ce Grand Auditorium that was played sparingly and meticulously cared for by its original owner. It has received a clean bill of health by MRM's Taylor-Authorized repair techs and is lovely structural condition, sounding luscious and clear with a buttery low-action set up. This particular 914ce from 2015 is built with the previous X-braced design offered by Taylor before their entire line transitioned to their proprietary V-class bracing. The voice is a touch more traditional - perhaps a bit more subdued than the salient V-class standard and is a testament to the wonderful variety that we enjoy with guitars and the variety of players that appreciate them. Many players will appreciate the earthy voice crystalline character in every register. The specs are otherwise similar to the current 914ce offering and we are happy to have such a sweet and serious instrument in our care until the right player finds it. Any player looking for easy playability and a vast array of deep and woody tones will be excited to behold this one. Hardly any wear and tear to speak of. Included is the original arched hardshell case also in excellent condition. A list of specifications from Taylor:

Our 900 Series stands out as our most luxurious class of rosewood guitars, blending a raft of tone-enhancing details with premium aesthetic features. The 914ce acoustic-electric Grand Auditorium boasts bracing, which functions as a new sonic engine for the guitar. Not only does it enhance the volume and sustain, it also changes the soundboard movement in a way that improves the guitar’s natural intonation, or “in-tuneness.”

The result is more power in the upper register and more harmonic agreement between all fretted notes, which helps chord voicings sing like never before. Players who love the deep lows and sparkling highs of rosewood will appreciate how well behaved the overtones are as notes bloom. Premium features include a beveled ebony armrest that makes your picking/strumming arm more comfortable, along with Gotoh 510 tuners, whose 21:1 gear ratio allows for precise tuning.

Refined appointments include ebony binding, our Ascension fretboard/peghead inlay in paua and pearl, a paua rosette with koa and ebony purfling, and paua/koa trim along much of the body and neck.
