Epiphone Broadway Archtop 1940s Sunburst

For sale is a 1946 Epiphone Broadway Archtop acoustic guitar in good condition for its vintage. This was one of Epiphone's original archtop models before being bought by Gibson. Flame Maple back and sides, carved spruce top, rosewood fingerboard and bridge. Healthy neck angle, plenty of fretlife and a healthy arch makes this a player's dream. Unoriginal Grover tuners, unoriginal pickguard. There was one major repair done (beautifully I might add!) to this instrument long before it came to us that required two large splines, some careful refinishing , new binding (see photos) and is quite discreet overall, but with disclosing nonetheless. Plenty of healthy vintage-mojo for an instrument of this era (see photos for cosmetic wear) but plays wonderfully with a sonorous and complex sound.
