The MP128P MidiBuddy is a no-frills MIDI program change foot controller from Rolls — straightforward in concept, practical in application. Ten numbered footswitches select bank or program changes directly, with two additional switches for incrementing up or down in banks of ten. A 3-digit LED display shows your current selection at a glance. DIP switches on the unit handle MIDI channel assignment (all 16 channels available), and song select with start/stop buttons makes it useful for sequencer and DAW control alongside standard patch switching. A MIDI thru passes signal through for sharing in a chain. The MP128P can operate via MIDI phantom power drawn from the receiving device — no wall wart required in many setups, though it also accepts an external DC adapter. Metal chassis, simple interface, compatible with any keyboard, effects processor, amp, or software that responds to standard MIDI program changes.
This unit is in good condition and fully functional throughout. Shows signs of regular use. Photos show the condition accurately.
